On 6 February 2018, the Senate referred an inquiry into the selection process for a national radioactive waste management facility in South Australia to the Senate Economics References Committee for inquiry and report by 14 August 2018. The committee is interested to hear from people regarding their involvement and experience in the process to select a site for the national radioactive waste management facility in South Australia.
Submissions close on Tuesday 3 April 2018.
Making a submission
The committee has resolved that it will only accept submissions that strictly address the terms of reference, with a particular focus on the appropriateness and thoroughness of the site selection process for a national radioactive waste storage facility.
